How do I engrave jewelry with an ImpressArt punch stamp? For example, how do you engrave a medal?
1. Place your 925 silver medal on the pile (the tapping block).
2. Determine where you want to engrave.
3. Place your decorative punch vertically, then tap it with a hammer. A sharp, clean blow will mark your metal.
4. Finish your engraving by applyingacrylic ink to blacken your design. Remove excess ink with a soft cloth.
And that's it, in just a few minutes you'll have a beautiful engraved 925 silver medal! Easy to use, creating personalized jewelry with a first name, a date, a texture or a motif will become child's play.
This metal engraving technique does require a little practice, so we advise you to practice on a support before getting started.
