What is 3-micron gold plating?
Gold-plated jewelry is made using an alloy of base metals (depending on the object and its strength). This choker is made of brass coated with gold (between 14 and 16 carats) on a layer of at least 3 microns.
What should I use to clean gold plating?

Dissolve baking soda in hot water, soak a cloth, wipe clean and dry. - Breadcrumbs
