Jesmonite AC retarder is designed to extend the working time of all Jesmonite materials.
Jesmonite is a material that tends to solidify very quickly. The solution? Add a retarder to increase setting time, so you can work longer and more stress-free. This setting retarder is compatible with Jesmonite AC730, AC830 and AC930.
How to use the retarder for Jesmonite?
1 - Add 2 to 8 g of retarder (a few drops) to the liquid component of Jesmonite.
2 - Mix with the rest of the products.
3 - Pour into the mold.
4 - Remove air bubbles, then allow to air dry.
5 - Remove from mold
It is advisable to test samples beforehand to determine the correct quantity of product to use. Jesmonite's setting time can be influenced by temperature and humidity.
