How do I engrave jewelry with an ImpressArt stamp? For example, how do you engrave a medal?
1.Place your 925 silver medal on the pile (the tapping block).
2. Determine where you want to engrave. Use the adhesive tape to "fix" your medal, but also to guide you when punching.
3. Place your decorative punch vertically, then tap it with a hammer. A sharp, clean blow will mark your metal.
4. Finish your engraving by applyingacrylic ink to blacken your design. Remove excess ink with a soft cloth.
And that's it, in just a few minutes you'll have a beautiful engraved 925 silver medal! Easy to use, creating personalized jewelry with a first name, a date, a texture or a motif will become child's play.
This metal engraving technique does require a little practice, so we advise you to practice on a support before taking the plunge.
