Product description

These open rings in 304 stainless steel are indispensable for creating DIY costume jewelry.

These stainless steelconnecting rings are essential for creating DIY costume jewelry such as earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings...
Open rings enable you to connect components such as a pendant to a chain, or a charm to an ear hook.

These rings resemble mini key rings. To open them, use a pair of pliers. Then slide in your jewelry components as you would a key ring.
These rings are perfect for beginner designers who don't know how to close rings properly. They offer extra security for attaching your pendants, charms, beads or sequins to a chain or ear stud.

Nickel-free Released

This stainless steel product complies with REACH regulations. Although it contains nickel due to its composition, this is not released. Regulations are strict for jewellery. The European Nickel Directive (94/27/EC in its latest version of 27 September 2004) requires that the nickel release rate be 0.5 micrograms per cm² (of the surface area of the item) per week for items in direct and prolonged contact with the skin.

This migration limit is lowered to 0.2 µg/cm²/week for piercings. Our stainless steel products comply with REACH regulations, which means that although this alloy contains nickel, it is not released in sufficient quantities to trigger an allergic reaction, even after several weeks or months of use. Contrary to what is sometimes claimed, nickel is not suddenly released after a certain period of use. Stainless steel is an alloy whose structure prevents the release of this metal in large quantities, even if the jewellery ages or its plating wears away. Tests carried out on stainless steels that comply with REACH standards show that these thresholds are not exceeded in the long term.
