This circular polishing brush is made of several cotton discs. It will allow you to perform a finishing polish on yourmetalandpolymer claycreations. The softness of the cotton fibers will give a smooth and shiny surface to your creations.
This mini cotton disc is used for polishing small parts.
How to polish your jewelry?
1. The surface to be polished must be prepared beforehand: deburr and emery your jewelry with abrasive brushes or sandpaper. For your polymer clay creations,first sand your pieceswith abrasive paper and then move on to polishing with micro-mesh.
2. Then, you will have to show this polishing brush on the Dremel®.
3. Apply it polishing paste gradually so as not to saturate the fabric for metal creations, the polymer does not require polishing paste.
4. Use a rigid support for polishing chains (piece of wood, thin board...).
It is important to always use a mask and protective eyewear before using the polishing wheel.
Also use protective leather finger cots to protect yourself from dirt and overheating of the parts. Indeed, when you proceed to the polishing stage, the parts get hot.
