How to make a dream catcher?
Is it possible to make a dreamcatcher out of a naperon?
Dreamcatcher, dream catcher or dream catcher, call it what you like, but this object is THE essential bohemian decorative element of the moment.
You'll need strong E-6000 glue (and protective gloves), a pair of scissors and a needle to thread your beads.
As for the rest, it's up to you to pick and choose from your stock of leftovers! That's the great thing about this DIY: you don't need much, and you don't need any particularly specific supplies. It's all about creativity!
NB: Please note that the list of products below is not entirely consistent with the presentation photo. For stock reasons, some products in this tutorial have been replaced by equivalents.

Cut a 1st piece of Hoooked Jersey Ribbon XLtwice the total height you want your dream catcher to be.
Here the longest length is 85 cm.
Secure it in the lower central part of the hoop with a lark's head knot.lark's head knot, see the data sheet here

Repeat the operation, ensuring symmetry on either side of the 1st length of stockinette.
Alternate with other ribbons, braids or fabric scraps matching the color of your dream catcher.
You can also hang strands of pearls of your choice. Here, we've chosen the pearls you'll find in the materials used below this tutorial.
Tip: preferably choose bohemian facets and a few PureCrystal beads to make your dream catcher shimmer and reflect the light.

Once you have nothing left to attach to the hoop, wrap some white soutache around it.
You can lightly glue the hoop to keep the soutache firmly and evenly attached to the hoop.
Tip: as you cross the small nylon threads, iron the soutache into the doily to hide these threads and ensure that the doily stays firmly in place.

Embellish your doily with small round white pompons, PureCrystal rhinestones for pretty golden highlights and a moonstone cabochon for a mystical effect.
