Before you begin, prepare your equipment.
In this tutorial:
T4 = Toupie 4mm
R11 = Rocaille 11mm
R15 = Rocaille 15mm

This design was created by our creative partner Domi Moreau, aka Minou84, for our second Cré'Academy competition. As a reminder, the Cré'Academy is a creative competition that enables Perles & Co customers to submit jewelry tutorials. Five of the entries are selected and published on the site. As you can see, Minou84's creation joins four new tutorials and the creations of the first edition, to be discovered without delay in our "Perlement Vôtre" collection.
In this tutorial, you'll discover how to make beaded drum pendants (tambourines, doughnuts or rings, I'll let you decide) to embellish a pair of creoles. (But this pendant can also be used to personalize a necklace, for example). In just a few steps, with a little patience and a pair of needles, you'll obtain this pretty pair of earrings.
Here, the designer has chosen pink and gold pearls, which will sublimate any summer outfit. But this choice of colors is just one of many. On our site, we have a wide choice of 4mm toupies, 11mm seed beads and 15mm seed beads, allowing you to give free rein to your creativity.
If you reproduce this tutorial with your friends, we invite you to share your creation with us on social networks, mentioning Perles & Co on your post. We love to see the beautiful creations you make!

Before you begin, prepare your equipment.
In this tutorial:
T4 = Toupie 4mm
R11 = Rocaille 11mm
R15 = Rocaille 15mm

Cut 1 meter of Fireline. Thread a needle at each end. Thread 4 T4s and cross your threads in the 4th. Then thread a T4 on 1 thread, and 2 T4s on the other, crossing in the 2nd T4. Continue until you have 7 crossings.

The 8th crossing will be used to close your work in a circle. Thread 1 T4 onto each thread, and cross each thread into the first T4 at the beginning.

Pulling a T4 off the edge, with one of the two wires

Thread a rock 11 between each T4 on one side. Do the same on the other side. If you have a pen with the right diameter for the job, it'll be easier... So there are 8 R11s on each side. Pull out an R11.

Thread 3 R15s and move on to the next R11, skipping T4 8 times. Do the same on the other side.

Exit the central R15, put on an R11 and pass through the next central R15, 8 times. Tighten and pass several times through the circle of 8 R11s. Do the same on the other side. Pass your threads through your work several times to stiffen.

Your little drum is finished. Make a second one

Just gently thread your "tambourines" onto each creole. You're done!
