There are several ways to create a snowflake with beads. Here is one way. You will need crystal beads of different sizes and some soft wire. Here we have used 0.4 mm copper wire, but it will also work with 0.3 mm. All you need is a pair of wire cutters to cut your wire.

Cut 20 cm of copper wire. Thread a 4 mm round bead and place it in the middle. Fold the wires on both sides of the bead.

Twist the wire around itself for 1.5 cm. To do this, hold the bead with one hand and turn the wire with the other hand.

Put the two ends of the wire back together near the bead and thread a 3 mm spinner on one of the wires. Place the bead 1 cm from the "twist" and twist the two wires coming out of the bead. Do the same thing on the other side.

The two ends of the threads meet in the centre. Twist them over 5 mm then cut one of the two threads. Thread a filigree bead.

Repeat steps 1 to 4 5 more times to get 6 branches.

Gather the 6 branches one by one, wrapping the remaining wire around the other wires each time.

Cut a 6 cm piece and thread a 4 mm round. Twist the thread on 2 turns to block the bead.

Thread the two strands of yarn through the center of your flake and wedge the bead in the middle. Wrap the two strands around the other strands in the back. If you want to form a loop, cut the wires so that only 2 remain. Then form a loop with a round clip. If not, wrap all the wires tightly and then recut them wherever you want.
