Canvas

What is the Canvas? Canvas is a very old hobby technique, it is a thick canvas that serves as a weave. This canvas allows to embroider patterns, there are different stitches. With this technique, we can make interior decoration such as coasters, carpets, cushions, wall decoration. We can also make accessories, pockets, bags for example. To realize the projects we can use thick cotton yarn, we advise you to use Cotton Natura XL DMC. You can use a needle for cross stitch or a Smyrna crochetknotted stitch for weaving wool and carpets.

This haberdashery technique allows you to customize decorative elements or accessories. Canvas fabrics are ideal for cross stitch. Moreover, it is good value for money for all your embroidery activities!

With Canvas Canvas you can also make punch needle projects! For more facility you can use a drum to stretch the canvas. The advantage of Canvas fabrics is that they allow a precise weaving because they are in the form of a grid to guide the passage of the needle and obtain regular stitches.
