What to do with a tampon and Fimo paste? There are many uses of tampons on polymer clay, this technique is very affordable for a beginner and the result rather bluffing.
Step 1
Prepare a dough plate with about 3 bars of a 56g white fimo bread by rolling it to the thick notch of your dough machine.

2nd step
You can put a little talc on the rubber of your tampon to prevent the paste from sticking. Remove the excess by blowing. Apply your stamp on the white plate pressing strongly and evenly.

Step 3
Take a cutter to cut off the panda head. You can later smooth your borders to erase the sharp edges. Cook the panda at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.

Step 4
Wait until your panda has cooled or pass underwater to go to the next step. Fill all the hollows with a few drops of black liquid Sculpey . Spread the polymer with a needle to direct it in the corners. The polymer must reach the same level as the white paste. Start a second cooking at 130 degrees for 20 minutes. If the resistance of your oven is too close to the panda white may slightly change color, I advise you in this case to protect your creation on a piece of baking paper.

Step 5
Sand your panda with a thousand-grain fine abrasive to round off the edges and make the white look white. Sand under soapy water to keep small particles in the air trapped in the water. Do not scratch your creation by pressing too hard you must make small circles everywhere on the surface. Now rub your panda on jeans or cotton to revive its colors and give it a matte look.
Place your brooch on the back of the panda with Hasulith glue. Let it dry for half a day.
