How to make a beaded wave bracelet?

Create a pretty bracelet with golden seed beads and pink ceramic round beads. In this tutorial, I show you how to create this wave effect with beads of two different sizes. It's a very simple bead-weaving technique to reproduce. To create the wave effect, thread a large bead onto one thread, followed by a single seed bead. On the second thread, seed beads are threaded to follow the contour of half the bead. This wire is then threaded through the seed bead below the large bead to create continuity. The wires on which the large bead is placed are then alternated with the other seed beads.

This technique can be used with many different beads. For example, you could choose oval ceramic beads and small pearly beads to create a completely different beaded bracelet. If you don't want to completely change the bracelet, ceramic beads are also available in other colors. You can therefore play with the color of the Seed beads and round beads to personalize this bracelet model.

This pastel pink bracelet is the perfect complement to a fuchsia sweater. This combination works well for a casual, colorful look. For an even more chic effect, you can choose a soft sweater like a cashmere sweater in warm, neutral tones: beige or light brown, or even pastel yellow or orange. This bracelet also goes well with a dress with satin sleeves or a plumetis effect. A little denim jacket over the dress will complete your look until summer arrives.

Ps: Add a bead cover to the beads to be crushed for a prettier finish.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Cut 1 meter of C-LON Fine Weight thread. Thread the thread onto a split-eye or reformable-eye needle, and thread a thread protector through the center of the thread. Bend the thread to locate the center.

Thread a Crimp bead onto one end of the thread, then cross the other thread over the Crimp bead. Flatten the bead to hold the wire in place.

Step 2

On one end of the wire, thread a ceramic bead, then a Seed bead. On the other end, thread seven Seed beads.

Thread the seven seed beads back into the seed bead below the ceramic bead, then pull the thread through to form the pattern.

Step 3

On the thread with the needle, again thread a ceramic bead and a Seed bead. On the other thread, thread seven Seed beads and iron in the Seed bead under the ceramic bead. Tighten securely.

Repeat the alternation between ceramic beads and Seed beads, each time reversing the needle between the two wires for orientation.

Step 4

Thread a Crimp bead on one end of the wire and a wire protector on the other. Thread the second wire through the Crimp bead. Tighten and flatten the bead. With Crimp beads pliers, you can fold the bead in half to save space. Gently approach the flame to seal the wire, without igniting it. Place a bead cover over the bead to hide the small ends.

Attach the clasp with a ring and another small ring on the other side of the bracelet to finish.

Bonsoir,
