Hama beads, also known as iron-on beads, are a popular and affordable DIY material, ideal for making decorations. Easy to use, they can be used to create colorful designs, whether for Christmas decorations, accessories or homemade gifts. The technique involves arranging beads on a special support, the Hama bead plate, then ironing them with a hot iron to secure them together. Please note! Remember to put a sheet of baking paper or Hama ironing paper between the beads and the iron to prevent the beads from sticking to the iron. The result is a colorful creation that's quick and easy to make, and can be hung on a Christmas tree, placed as a centerpiece or simply added to your other decorations.

This project is accessible to all, and will enable you to create an inexpensive Christmas decoration that will amaze your loved ones. It's a great idea for a family activity, so get your beads and iron ready, and let us guide you on this magical creative adventure!Don't hesitate to place an LED candle inside the house and on the base of the tree to bring your creations to life. Warning: do not use real candles, as the heat will melt your beads. Hama beads are not suitable for children under 3, and this activity should only be carried out under adult supervision.
To get started, first prepare the different sides of the ironing bead house.
Assemble the 4 sheets of iron-on beads and place the HAMA BIO beads as shown in the attached diagram.
Don't forget to leave the inside of the windows empty, so that the light from your candle or garland can show through and give your creation a warm glow.
Once you've created the first side of the house, you can attach the beads to each other using your iron.
Don't forget to put ironing paper or greaseproof paper over your beads to protect them from the heat of the iron.
Start ironing the front side.
When the beads are still hot, place a heavy object (such as a dish) over them to keep them flat and your creation straight. Leave to cool for 1 or 2 min.
Once the beads have cooled, you can remove them from the plate and iron the other side, following the same instructions.
Once you've created all your patterns, we can assemble them together.
Admire the result!
(If you want your creation to be more solid, you can fix each part with hot glue).
