It's THE trend of the moment: HAMA ironing beads! You too can succumb to the creative trend of ironing beads. In jewelry, in decoration, for young and old, the possibilities are endless! Today, we've chosen to create a flower-shaped dish in HAMA midi beads to set off the jewelry. A true object of decoration, don't hesitate to change the colors to match your interior or your desires.
What are HAMA ironing beads? They are small multicolored plastic beads that are placed on a plate to create the pattern you want! Using an iron and a sheet of baking paper, the beads stick together!
This dish is made up of two parts. The large flower and four small pearls that we'll glue together at the last moment using hot glue, which will give our cup a little more relief.

Before you begin, prepare the materials:
Assemble the four plates together to create a single, larger plate. Remove the HAMA Midi beads from their bag and place them in a suitable container. They will be much easier to catch.

Shape the flower using the special tweezers or your fingers, following the diagram shown above.

Once your flower is finished, take your HAMA pearl ironing paper or a piece of greaseproof paper with you.
Heat up your iron. Once the iron is hot, place the ironing paper over the flower and start à ironing over it.
Iron the flower for at least 30 seconds. Don't forget any spots so that all the HAMA beads melt and cling together.
Let cool for a few seconds. (If you find that the beads have not melted properly, you can repeat this tap so that the beads are well welded together).
Never place the iron directly on the pearls without the greaseproof paper.

Turn the flower upside down and place it back on the grid to iron the other side (be careful, it's a bit hot!).
You can also place the flower on a piece of parchment paper if you can't get it back on the grid (Your pearls are normally already well soldered together).
Swirl the other side for 30 seconds to melt the beads on the other side.
This step is necessary so that the cup doesn't break when it's formed.
The beads will melt on the other side.

While the pearls are still hot, carefully position the flower in a shallow dish (soup plate, salad bowl, bowl) so that it takes on a concave shape as it cools. Be careful not to burn yourself, as the pearls are still very hot!
Wait a few minutes for the flower to cool.

See what the flower should look like once it's been molded.

Form the four stories using the diagram above.

Once the four wedges have been created, iron them using the same technique as for the flower (see steps 3 and 4).
Pass the wedges through both sides and, when they are still hot, arrange them in a hollow mold smaller than the one used for the flower (small bowl, ramekin). Let the wedges cool for a few minutes. Once cold, you can deémold them.

Turn your flower upside down so you can see the back.Arrange the four pétales between the flower's large pétales (see photo).
Glue each pétale à using hot glue. A dot of glue on the bottom of the pétale is enough, you don't need to use much. Leave to dry for a few minutes.

Turn your flower upside down and voilà, your pretty dish is finally finished!
