How to weave pearls into a drop pendant?

Learn how to create golden drop earrings in seed beads and faceted pearls with this video tutorial. For our weaving earringsearring weave, we've opted for delicate drop-shaped candlesticks in gold-plated stainless steel. Their thinness and lightness ensure that these earrings remain comfortable and space-saving, making them easy to wear throughout the day. To decorate these drops, we'll be using Miyuki seed beads size 11/0 and faceted glass beads called Micro Spacers. These beads are available in other colors. The chandelier is also available in silver. You'll find more color suggestions in the variations section at the bottom of the page.

We've chosen to make these earrings entirely in gold, so you can wear them with almost any outfit. This versatility makes them a must-have accessory for your wardrobe. If you wear more silver, you can easily replace the products in this tutorial.

Using these drops as a support for our weaving is interesting, as their design mimics a chain, embellishing our jewelry with additional detail. By weaving pearls, we can quickly and easily obtain earrings that present a more elaborate and attractive appearance. In the video, we'll take a look at how to achieve the pearl lace effect you can see in the model.

Preferably, for this weave, use fireline nylon thread. This fishing line is fine, very strong and does not fray. You'll need to tighten the weave a little and iron through the beads several times. It is therefore more suitable than soft weaving line such as Miyuki. Absolutely avoid C-Lon thread or sewing thread, which will not be suitable at all. This tutorial is accessible to beginners, but we recommend it more to people who have already done a few weaving tutorials before.
