How to weave seed beads with a needle?

Creole ear rings are the most feminine accessories in our jewelry boxes. Whether our hair is up in a bun, tied back in a ponytail or completely loose, creoles always sublimate our head carriage. Minimalist or XXL, they're a must-have for evenings out, as well as an ally for days in.

This new tutorial is proposed by Jenny. This designer has created original creole ear rings in the traditional Christmas colors of red, gold and green. Creoles are must-have earrings, suitable for all looks and all ages. You can wear them on the big day, and they'll make a real splash. Or why not give a pair of earrings as a gift this year?
These fancy ear rings are part of our November "Perlement vôtre" jewelry collection. It's an original collection with a twist, as it features creations imagined and made by the five winners of our Cré'Académy 2023 creative competition. Perfect tutorials to get you in theholiday mood!

To complete this tutorial, all you need to know is how to weave Miyuki beads around a round pendant. The technique is similar to brick stitch. You'll need to have some experience in weaving beads to be able to make them. Once you've finished weaving, all you need to do is hang the pendants on ear studs using open rings and your jewelry pliers.

Would you like to make these Miyuki ear rings in other colors? Feel free to personalize your DIY creations by selecting other colors of seed beads from our wide range of Miyuki beads, to match your outfit.

Thread a green Delica, passing the thread under the ring.

Step 2

Stitch into the Delica and tighten, leaving about 10 cm of thread. The beads will tighten as you go along. Do not hesitate to place them correctly at the beginning of the assembly.

Step 3

Take a new green Delica, pass the thread behind the ring and prick into the bead.

Step 4

Step 5

Repeat the operation until you have completed the ring.

Note that the first row must have an odd number of beads.

Tip: If the remaining 10 cm of thread is in the way, thread it through the beads already set. This will block your work, but don't cut it.

Step 6

Start with the Brick Stitch technique and begin the row with a decrease:

Bonjour,
