Learn how to make dangling earrings with Swarovski crystal or PureCrystalbeads. These faceted, cone-shaped beads are called spinning tops. In this beginner's tutorial, we'll also be using transparent glass seed beads. It will take you an average of 1 hour to make the pair. Our detailed step-by-step video will help you make your sparkling earrings. These spinning tops are made of crystal, not to be confused with rock crystal. Don't know the difference? Visit our article on crystal vs. rock crystal to find out more.
The spinning tops used in this beaded jewelry tutorial are made of AB crystal. AB stands for Aurora Borealis. It refers to a rainbow reflection on the pearl's surface. This effect can be found in many types of pearls, including rocailles. This effect gives pearls a slightly more unique style and accentuates the effects of light. This makes earrings that can be worn day or night, for an evening out thanks to their chic style, or for work because of their elegance and small size.
These pearls are also available in other colors. Visit the PureCrystal 4 mm or Swarovski 4 mm category to discover all the colors. The moon ear studs are silver-plated. They are also available in gold.
