A Christmas DIY deco easy to make to make a boho-style Christmas wreath, do you like it?
The crown is a must have to decorate its interior at the end of the year holidays. Easy to do, it brings a touch of magic to our interiors and puts us immediately in the Christmas mood. Hanging on the front door or in the living room, we propose you to make a boho crown in gold and copper tones with pompoms , raw wood beads and eucalyptus branches to change the traditional branch of fir.
STEP 1 - Coloring raw wood beads
To start this Christmas wreath, choose the raw wood beads you want to paint. Here, 3 square wooden beads, 4 round rough wooden beads were used.
To paint the wooden beads using bronze spray paint, you have several choices: paint them in one or two colors, realizing different patterns. To help you paint a pearl in many colors, you can use paper tape.
Then let it dry and pass a second coat for a result as opaque as possible.
You can use the spray of bronze acrylic paint or the set of 9 colors: light & neopaque taking Metallic bronze tint 565.
STEP 2 - Putting ribbons on the hoop
Take the bamboo hoop. Make a double knot with the copper cord and roll it on the hoop by tightening well. Once you reach the end of the length of the cord, make a solid knot (the goal being that the cord does not relax).
Perform the same steps with the golden organza ribbon. You get a golden part and a copper part.
STEP 3 - Establishment of eucalyptus branches
Once you have picked up 3 branches of eucalyptus at your favorite florist, take a first branch and wrap it around the hoop placing it above and below the hoop. To prevent it from moving, attach the branch with white nylon thread by making double-knots at 3 different places. Continue with the second and third branches. The goal is to have a beautiful arrangement of eucalyptus leaves, with a beautiful volume well distributed. Do not hesitate to test before definitively fixing the branches taking care to be delicate because the leaves can be detached from their branch.
STEP 3 - Fixing raw wood beads and tassels on the hoop
Now that the paint is dry, you can fix the wooden beads on the crown. To do this, take a thread and a needle and sew the pearls on the organza wire making sure to make solid knots.
To fix the pompoms, such as balls of mistletoe, divide them all along the eucalyptus branches at the base of the leaves. To secure them, sew them on the organza ribbon.
Add the larger pompon to hide the connection between the copper wire and the gold organza ribbon.

STEP 4 - Achieving suspension
To finish your Christmas wreath, cut 60 cm of organza ribbon, make a knot at one end and put on the 4 round wooden beads. Next, attach the ribbon to the hoop by winding the ribbon several times and ending with a knot.
Your crown is now over, you just have to fix it where you want: on the front door, in your living room and why not in a room ...!

We would love to see your version of the Christmas wreath ... so do not hesitate to send us photos on Facebook or by email , it may inspire other people!
