String the beads following the grid. Start threading at the top right, working your way to the left, row by row, from top to bottom.
Thread a piece of paper at the end of each row (to mark the rows when crocheting). The mesh is threaded on both sides, like beads. Look for the green boxes on the grid.
Do not string the dark green beads that correspond to the bottom of the pattern.
Threading can be done in several steps. Just connect the new wire to the old one flush with the work.
The crocheting is done in tight stitches.
Start with the last beads strung, 6 purple R11. Make a magic circle, then make 6 tight stitches, without beads, around the circle, tighten and close with a cast-on stitch.
The increases are always at the end of the point. Continue like this for 12 rows.
Your work should match this picture. The increases are complete and you should have 72 R11 on your round.
At the beginning of the 13th row, make an air stitch before crocheting the first tight stitch, do the row normally. At the end of the row, make a cast-on stitch in this cast-on stitch. Do an air stitch before starting the 14th row, etc.
This will close the rows, and avoid shifts in the pattern. Continue straight for 18 rows.
For the 18th row, do not make a stitch in the air at the beginning of the row. Put your support ball inside.
Your pattern should match the image. Start the decreases. The decreases are made at the beginning of the tip.
Stitch your hook under the front strand (of the V) of the first stitch, then under the back strand (of the V) of the second stitch, 1 cast on, pull a stitch through both strands, then finish your stitch with a cast on and pull off. There are 11 rows of decreases. Tighten the work. Be careful not to break the yarn! Continue until you have only 6 beads left for the last round.
For a nice finish, especially if you are not satisfied with the beginning of your work, you can put a cap.
Remember to do this before you put the support ball in place.

Stop your work and cut your thread long enough (40 cm) to be able to put a cap and some beads to make the attachment.
