Make a curved beaded bracelet with this video tutorial. This technique is recommended for beaders who already have some experience. You need to be able to find your way around the weave and be aware of the fact that the weave twists. This model of bracelet will not be completely flat, it will curl a little like a light lace frou-frou.
To make it, you will need 11/0, 15/0 seed beads and 4 mm round beads. Here we have used Preciosa pearl resin beads, but you can also use 4 mm gemstone beads or Vintage resin beads. It can be made with Miyuki wire or fireline 0,10 mm.
To achieve the wave effect, you must first weave a long strip of beads in ladder stitch. Then, by going back through the weave and tightening one side on a few beads and then the other side on the same number of beads, you get a kind of wave. Then, we complete the top of the wave with other beads and the hollow with a 4 mm bead.
This technique is a basic one when starting to weave complex bead jewellery designs. By changing the size of the beads and the number of beads on the first row in ladder stitch, different results can be obtained.
