NB: The products indicated in the basket correspond to the materials needed to make the 3 bracelets. Count 4 bags of PureCrystal 2.5 mm bicones per bracelet. The rondelles used in this tutorial have been replaced by 4 mm Crimp beads.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Jonc Bracelet with PureCrystal tubular bicone weaving : Step 1

Cut an arm's length of thread and thread 6 bicones. Pass the thread through the bicones and back through the first one to form a loop. Leave 10 cm of thread end. For the bracelet with "jet" and " crystal silver shade " bicones, use the "crystal silver shade" bicones from time to time. Try to distribute the bag of 50 bicones throughout the weaving process.

Step 2
Jonc Bracelet with PureCrystal tubular bicone weaving : Step 2

Thread a bicone, not the one next to the one you came out of, but the one after. The technique used is tubular Peyote weaving, and you can watch the video here. Thread a new router and do the same as before, then a third router in the same way.

Step 3
Jonc Bracelet with PureCrystal tubular bicone weaving : Step 3

Pass the thread through the first bicone you threaded in step 2. Add another bicone and repeat step 2. Once you've threaded 3 spinning tops in this step, pull out the first spinning top you threaded in this step. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have 6 beads left. Tighten the weave often, so that it's not too loose.

Step 4

To help you find your way through the weave, count the spinning wheels 3 by 3: "1,2,3 and I pass through two beads". If you have to stop, always stop after completing a sequence and passing through two beads at the end, so you know where to start again.

If ever your thread is too short to continue the bracelet, keep 10 cm of thread and refer to the end of step 4 to block the thread. Do the same to insert a new thread and pick up where you left off.

Step 5

Once you've only got 6 beads left from the 4 bags, thread the tube onto the bracelet, then complete each end with 3 bicones woven as before. Pass through the last 3 bicones several times, tightening them, then pass through the previous bicones again, tie a knot between 2 bicones, then pass through the bracelet bicones again, tie a knot again and pass through a few more bicones. Do this for both sides of the weave. Be careful not to break the bracelet ring. The bracelet is also available in Rose Gold and Gold.

Step 6

Center the tube of spinners on the bracelet and thread 3 4 mm Crimp beads onto each side of the bracelet. Place a small amount of glue next to the last bead on each side of the bracelet and place a bead cover over the glue tip. This will hold the beads in place.

Step 7

Glue the rhinestones to the rhinestone holders and secure with a ring.
