This tutorial is quite difficult to follow and to realize for a beginner. It asks to know the brick stitch and ladder stitch, as well as the basic methods associated with miyuki weaving: to know how to stop a thread and to refix one on the weave, we don't linger on it in the already very long video, to have a vision of "meaning" and "positioning of the thread" which will be very difficult to understand.s important in this weaving and a trained eye to see the subtleties of such a meticulous weaving on a video. To practice before this tutorial we recommend this intermediate level video: "Création DIY boucles d'oreilles Créoles Tissage Brickstitch Miyuki Delicas Emeraude".
The first part of the weave is rather simple if you already know the brick stitch weave around a ring. It consists of making 3 rows of beads of different shapes and sizes. The number of beads here is not important except for the last row of bohemian facets. You have to fix 16 of them evenly distributed all around the circle on the two loops.
The second part is to reattach a round of beads around the interlayer with 11/0 delicas but the number is important. You have to manage to fix 48 of them. Push the beads as you go along to tighten them and fix the number of beads.
The third part made of alternating delicas and bohemian facets is woven at the same time as the fourth part made of 11/0 delicas woven in ladder stitch. The direction of the thread will be important and you will have to go back into the weave at the beginning to turn around and position the thread in the right direction.
The fourth part is composed of 2x4 delicas separated by a 15/0 rockery then 2x5 delicas separated by a 15/0 rockery also and again 2x4 delicas. Same on the other side of the buckle. This difference makes the outer ladder stitch circle still look like a circle.
The facets and delicas of the third part are fixed every second bead in relation to the second part.
A final turn allows to add the sets of 3 beads above the facets.
On these some annotations I wish you a good creation !
