How to work a natural tree leaf to reveal its skeleton?
What to do with a tree leaf skeleton?
In this tutorial, you'll learn how to remove the chlorophyll from the leaves, thus bringing out all the veins. There are a number of creative possibilities for enhancing these leaves: here, we've reinforced their solidity and adorned them with glitter. These leaves can also be colored with food coloring, alcohol inks or acrylic paints. You can fully resin-coat the sheets with either epoxy resin or UV and UV led resins.

Boil your leaves in a saucepan with baking soda over low heat for 1 hour.
Rinse leaves under running water.

Scrape the entire surface of the sheet with a toothbrush until only the body remains. Dry the surface with a cloth, then press-dry it initially if you want it to remain flat, but this is not compulsory.

Give your leaf the shape you want by drawing the shape on a sheet of paper, then placing your leaf on top and cutting out the outline with a scissor. To make a monstera leaf, draw a swollen heart and make 2 or 3 incisions on the sides, hollowing out small triangles of leaf veins.

Put a little glitter glue on the leaf, then remove any excess glue that might completely cover the spaces between the ribs by tapping the leaf between your thumb and forefinger.

Cover the leaf with glitter powder, not forgetting to do the other side. Collect the glitter in its container by placing a sheet of paper under the tree leaf.

You can provide extra protection for the glitter's hold on the leaf by applying a spray varnish, but be careful not to spray too closely, which could alter the glitter's brilliance.

Place a ring on the stem's tail, place a drop of uv led resin at this point, taking care not to obstruct the passage through the ring. Hold the ring in position with the tip of a toothpick, then catalyze the resin under a UV Led lamp.

Open the ring on the ear hook to pass the leaf ring through, and close tightly. Feel free to show us your creations inspired by this tutorial.
