Thanks to the stamping technique, bouterolles can be used to give your metal plates a hollow, hemispherical or spherical shape.
Simply position the metal plate in the hole of the stamping die, then shape it with the head of a bouterolle (the right diameter for your hole) using a mallet or hammer. We explain in detail how to use a stamping die in our Youtube video.
Caution: Please note that the die has been coated with a greasy substance to prevent it from rusting during transport. Use a soft cloth to clean it.
This product is made of carbon steel, so some rusting is possible.
