This stamping set, consisting of 24 stamping balls and a stamping die, is indispensable for metalworking.
Thanks to the stamping technique, bouterolles can be used to give your metal plates a hollow, hemispherical or spherical shape.
Simply place the metal plate in the hole of the stamping die, then use a mallet or hammer to shape it with a bouterolle (the right diameter for your hole). We explain in detail how to use a stamping die in our Youtube video.
This kit contains :
- 24 carbon steel rods from 2.7 mm to 24.5 mm in diameter. These rods will enable you to stamp a metal plate to give it a rounded and domed shape.
- 1 stamping die, with 17 steel holes of different sizes on each of its six faces, forming half-spheres.
The heads of the spheres are adapted to the cavities of the stamping die.
Caution: Please note that the stamping die has been coated with a greasy substance to prevent rusting during transport. Use a soft cloth to clean it. - 1 practical wooden stand for storage, so you'll always have your equipment to hand. Engraved graduations on the base ensure you never get the wrong size.
Caution: Please note that the stamping die has been coated with a greasy substance to prevent rusting during transport. Use a soft cloth to clean it.
