Silgum Paste is the ideal paste for creating molds, with high-fidelity reproduction of the desired object!
Practical and easy to use, Silgum Paste is a 2-component paste to be mixed in equal quantities and applied directly to the object to be reproduced. The result is rigid, resistant molds.
This fast-setting 2-component molding paste is non-toxic, skin-friendly and non-stick. It can be stored at room temperature.
Directions for use:
- Dose 1 part pink component to 1 part white component.
- Mix quickly (30 s), rolling the mixture like a sausage. The correct mixture should have an even, light pink color.
- Form into a ball and crush onto the object laid flat, covering it with an even layer of 3 to 4 mm. For larger objects, use plaster strips to make a shell.
- Pour the reproduction material: plaster, Cristal resin, reconstituted stone, etc.
- Remove from the mold after drying. Leave to dry and decorate.
Working time: 2 to 3 min.
Setting time: approx. 10 min from mixing.
Completely dry: 1 hour, you obtain a rigid, resistant mold.
Moulding compound can be oven-baked: up to 130°C, for a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes.
Kit includes:
- One jar of component A (250g).
- One jar of component B (250g).
