This 100% silk twill Shibori ribbon is hand-dyed according to an ancient Japanese technique.
This artisanal method makes each ribbon different. These colour variations on the same thread allow you to create unique and original DIY costume jewellery.

What is the difference between silk twill and silk?
Silk twill is a variety of silk. It is distinguished by its oblique wefts on the fabric. Due to its weaving method, the colours are more matt.

J'achète régulièrement cette soie shibori et elle est absolument parfaite pour mes réalisation de manchette brodée en soie
Je l'utilise souvent avec les cabochons "lunasoft"

J'ai acheté un petit morceau de Shibori pour un essai en tissage de perles. Je n'ai pris que 10 cm de tissu pensant que la variation de couleurs était très rapprochée. Or je me suis retrouvée avec un morceau uniquement violet et légèrement kaki ... Déception... Mais le produit reste de qualité. Aussi je conseille d'acheter au moins 20 cm du produit pour avoir une bonne variation des couleurs qui restent magnifiques !!
Le sav m'a gentiment proposé de renvoyer le morceau mais j'ai préféré le garder pour mon essai !!!
