Raysin 250 Black" molding powder is a high-quality product ideal for molding.
It will give your creations an intense, velvety matte black finish. Odorless and easy to use, it does not alter the taste of food. Universal, it is suitable for molding both large and small objects, thanks to its high degree of hardness: 250 N/mm².
Once mixed with water, it offers optimum fluidity.
The molding powder dries in the air. It is suitable for molds made of plastic, latex, rubber, silicone, etc.
Raysin 200 can also be used to create candle containers. You'll need to apply a protective varnish to enable you to cast and burn your candles without risk. Once dry, this varnish remains stable up to 60°C.
Steps :
- Sprinkle the powder evenly into the water and mix well.
- Pour the clay quickly (processing time approx. 5 minutes) and evenly into the mold, tapping lightly if necessary to allow air bubbles to escape.
- After approx. 60 minutes (depending on the casting mold), the casting can be removed from the mold.
After complete drying (depending on shape, approx. 2 to 8 days) the cast part can be removed and further processed.
Tips :
- The mold must be clean, free of dust and grease, and stable and level.
- Pendants and magnets can be pressed into the still soft casting compound
- Hardened material can still be designed after drying (sanding, painting, etc.)
