Hello,

Can you please give more info about the plating of the product? How does it contain nickel when it's plated with 24k gold?

Hello, Nickel is sometimes used in Miyuki beads plating for several reasons related to the durability and finish of the beads. Here are the main reasons :
- Improved plating adhesion : Nickel is an excellent base material for fixing gold plating. It provides a stable, smooth surface, enabling 24k gold to adhere well to glass beads. Without such an underlying plating, the gold may not set properly or may deteriorate rapidly.
- Durability and wear resistance : Nickel is a strong, wear-resistant metal. It helps protect gold plating from scratches and other abrasion. This ensures that beads retain their shiny, precious appearance for a long time to come.
- Aesthetics and brilliance : Nickel can also contribute to the brilliance and smooth finish of beads. It can provide a reflective base that enhances the appearance of the gold placed on top.

Bonjour,
Pourriez-vous me donner quelques références ?
Merci

Bonjour,
