Nickel-free Released

This stainless steel product complies with REACH regulations. Although it contains nickel due to its composition, this is not released. Regulations are strict for jewellery. The European Nickel Directive (94/27/EC in its latest version of 27 September 2004) requires that the nickel release rate be 0.5 micrograms per cm² (of the surface area of the item) per week for items in direct and prolonged contact with the skin.

This migration limit is lowered to 0.2 µg/cm²/week for piercings. Our stainless steel products comply with REACH regulations, which means that although this alloy contains nickel, it is not released in sufficient quantities to trigger an allergic reaction, even after several weeks or months of use. Contrary to what is sometimes claimed, nickel is not suddenly released after a certain period of use. Stainless steel is an alloy whose structure prevents the release of this metal in large quantities, even if the jewellery ages or its plating wears away. Tests carried out on stainless steels that comply with REACH standards show that these thresholds are not exceeded in the long term.

Je suis déçue de la qualité de ces dormeuses. Pas du tout le visuel de la photo, plutôt argenté vieilli, très vieilli même alors que j'ai d'autres articles en acier inox bien plus brillant, là c'est très terne. De plus, difficiles à ouvrir et fermer, pour les oreilles fragiles...Dès la 1ère paire, une de cassée, j'en ai pris 50, dois-je toutes les tester?

Li ho trovati pessimi: dopo averli aperti, il gancio esce dalla sua posizione e non si chiudono più. Ne ho comprati 6 (3 confezioni) e sono da buttare!!

Effectivement la qualité est inégale, j'avais commandé une paire, elle était brillante et elle s'ouvrait et se fermait normalement, à la suite, j'en ai commandé une dizaine et sur le nombre, seulement 1 paire était identique, les autres grisâtres mats, se fermaient mal ou se cassaient, bref inutilisables. J'espère que le nouvel arrivage va être de bonne qualité !

Le petit anneau d'accroche est parfois très dur à ouvrir.... du coup cela fragilise l'ensemble de devoir insister pour l'ouvrir à la pince.
Plusieurs boucles se sont cassées très rapidement....
Dommage parce que le produit est sympa!
