Efcolor overglaze powders are ideal for giving a glazed look to your creations while avoiding the constraints of firing traditional enamel in a specialized kiln!
Slight shrinkage may occur during drying.
Instructions for use:
- Lightly sand your surface with the sanding block.
- Sprinkle your surface with the Efcolor powder of your choice, using a sieve suitable for Efcolor 25 ml bottles (the powder layer must be fine and even to avoid a bumpy final finish).
If the surface of your surface is not flat, use Efcolor fixative to hold the powder in place. - Using a spatula, place your creation on the most suitable Efcolor baking tray, then bake in a Brillantstique oven at 160°C for 3 to 5 minutes (the powder melts and sets at 150°C) or with the Efcolor oven.
- Remove the baking tray with your creation still on it, using a potholder or clothespin, and leave to cool.
Your creation is finished!
You can also add effects, superimpose layers and colors, inlay decorative elements...
