Model tough, detailed figures with Cosclay Doll Beauty Brown polymer clay, soft before baking and flexible afterwards.
Cosclay Doll polymer clay in Beauty Brown, a dark brown shade, is specially designed for the creation of detailed figures, sculptures and characters. This hybrid paste combines the properties of plastic and rubber, offering excellent softness during modeling and lasting flexibility after firing. Unlike conventional polymer pastes, it does not become brittle once fired, making it ideal for fine or delicate elements. Its Beauty Brown shade is perfect for creating natural skin tones or as a base for realistic creations. It's easy to work with after warming slightly in the hands, and remains reusable until fired.
How to use Cosclay Doll paste
Ideal for articulated figurines, stop-motion or other creations requiring strength, this paste enables you to design durable parts that can withstand handling, shocks and transport. You can use it to model characters, miniature accessories or precise decorative elements. After firing (between 120°C and 135°C depending on thickness), the pieces can be gently sanded with water and painted with acrylic paint for a personalized finish. Flexibility varies with thickness: the thinner the piece, the more supple it will be.
Combine it with other Cosclay pasta colors to create your figurines and let your creativity flow!
Directions for use:
- Before starting, knead the dough well to make it supple and easy to handle. You can also cut it into small pieces and warm them slightly in your hands to soften the dough.
- Use polymer clay on a silicone base to avoid damaging your work surface.
- Cosclay dough bakes at a relatively low temperature (between 120°C and 135°C). Check the manufacturer's recommendations on the packaging.
- Preheat oven. Bake dough pieces for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on thickness.
- For small, thin pieces, the baking time will be shorter, while for thicker items it may be longer.
- Do not bake on a metal plate. Use a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper or a silicone mat to avoid any chemical interaction with the paste.
- After baking, polymer clay can be painted with acrylic paints. If you want a glossy or protective finish, you can use a suitable varnish.
- After firing, allow the pieces to cool completely before handling.
- Cosclay paste should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct light, to prevent premature hardening.
