Hello, for a 2.5 mm thick brass wire, we recommend using cutting shears such as ATT-192 or OTL-190. Alternatively, you could use a jeweller’s saw, such as OTL-186. Thanks

Hello, considering that even if there is an anti tarnish treatment this metal tarnishes after longer time, how do you suggest to clean it? Thanks

Hello, I would strongly advise you to look after them before the metal ends up rusting or tarnishing. You should avoid showering whilst wearing them. Also remember to take them off before exercising or using household cleaning products. Finally, store them away from moisture and light in a small individual pouch when you’re not wearing them.

Hi, I noticed that after some time this wires tarnishes. How do you suggest to clean it to remove the tarnishment? Will this remove the anti-tarnish treatment? If yes, do you have an anti-tarnish product that can be applied on the wire? Thanks

Hello, As this Artistic Wire is coated with a protective varnish, you must avoid using any abrasive or acidic products, as these would damage this thin layer. If it has merely become slightly tarnished, clean it gently with a slightly damp microfibre cloth and mild soap, then dry it immediately. Next, apply a protective varnish specifically designed for jewellery to reseal the surface and permanently stop oxidation.
