Les clous sont inutilisables car on dirait qu'ils sont complètement oxydés, les têtes sont noires, elles font sale...

L'aspect oxydé est dû à la finition argenté vieilli.
Les finitions argenté ou rhodié (gris foncé brillant) vous conviendrons sans doute mieux :
