Oui, effectivement pour le cuir cet embout est très bien, pour le cordon non, car la fin d'un cordon, p.ex. en queue de rat ,est souple et ainsi il faut avoir plutôt une pince de 5mm pour bien concer le cordon.
Par ailleurs je suis toujours à la recherche d'embout pour cuir de 6mm et plus comme celui là et/ou un embout de pince également pour 6mm et plus.
