This set of metal stamps is ideal for creating personalized jewelry with metal engraving.
Easy to handle, the metal stamps are made of steel, a guarantee of quality, resistance and longevity.
You can punch precisely on soft metals such as silver, copper or aluminum, but also on leather or wood.
How to engrave jewelry with stamps? For example, how do you engrave a medal? You'll need a hammer, a stamp, a bit of scotch tape, a jeweler's block (tapping block) and a bracelet.
1. Place your charm on the pile (tapping block).
2. Determine where you want to engrave. Use the tape to "fix" your bracelet, but also to guide you when punching.
3. Place your stamp vertically, then tap the punch with a hammer. A sharp, clean blow will mark your metal.
4. Finish your engraving by applying acrylic ink to blacken your design. Remove excess ink with a soft cloth.
This metal engraving technique does require a little practice, so we recommend that you practice on a support before you start.
