Product description

These leverback earrings to decorate in hammered-effect 304 Gold stainless steel will enable you to make pretty DIY fantasy earrings.

Leverback earrings are timeless pieces of jewelry, suitable for all looks and styles.

You can, of course, wear these earrings on their own for a minimalist, understated look. But you can also customize them by hanging chains, large acrylic links, thread, beads, charms or mini-tassels. Let your imagination run wild!

And why not combine them with other earrings for an accumulation effect? The possibilities are endless! Check out our do-it-yourself earring tutorials for creative ideas.
If you don't have lobes pierced all over, opt for ear rings or ear cuffs that are easy to slip on.

What are leverback earrings?
Originally, these earrings were worn at night to prevent the piercing from closing during sleep. Hence the name! Their unmistakable fastening system keeps the sleeper securely in place on the earlobe. Impossible to lose!

This product is PVD plated.

Nickel-free Released

This stainless steel product complies with REACH regulations. Although it contains nickel due to its composition, this is not released. Regulations are strict for jewellery. The European Nickel Directive (94/27/EC in its latest version of 27 September 2004) requires that the nickel release rate be 0.5 micrograms per cm² (of the surface area of the item) per week for items in direct and prolonged contact with the skin.

This migration limit is lowered to 0.2 µg/cm²/week for piercings. Our stainless steel products comply with REACH regulations, which means that although this alloy contains nickel, it is not released in sufficient quantities to trigger an allergic reaction, even after several weeks or months of use. Contrary to what is sometimes claimed, nickel is not suddenly released after a certain period of use. Stainless steel is an alloy whose structure prevents the release of this metal in large quantities, even if the jewellery ages or its plating wears away. Tests carried out on stainless steels that comply with REACH standards show that these thresholds are not exceeded in the long term.
