Add an elegant finishing touch to your creations with this tip, specially designed for weaving with seed beads and Delica beads. Compatible with peyote stitch, brick stitch, and other weaving techniques, it allows you to create neat, professional finishes on your woven bracelets.
Ideal for finishing your beaded jewelry, this cap works equally well with both seed beads and Delica beads. This end cap is shaped like a small, elongated tube with two tabs that close with pliers. Made of gold-plated 304 stainless steel, it offers excellent durability and is resistant to oxidation.
What can you do with this end cap?
It’s particularly well-suited for bracelets and cuffs made using the peyote or brick stitch techniques. Once attached, simply add a clasp of your choice (lobster clasp, toggle clasp, or spring clasp) to finish your creation.
How do you close a bracelet made with seed beads woven using a weaving end cap?
1) Once your weaving is complete, tuck all the protruding threads into your weaving.
2) Using flat-nose pliers, close one of the tabs on the end cap.
3) Thread your weaving onto the end cap by passing the first row of beads through the end of the cap.
4) Slide the weaving along the end cap. For a more durable hold, you can use a drop of jewelry glue to secure it.
5) Then close it by folding down the other end of the cap.
6) Attach your DIY creation to the clasp of your choice.
