This thinly sliced tagua seed is a beautiful alternative to ivory. Pierced like a pendant, it will enable you to create original and responsible costume jewelry.
What is tagua seed?
Also known as vegetable ivory or corozo, tagua is a seed from the fruit of the elephant palm.
As it dries, it becomes very hard. This allows it to be cut, shaped, sculpted, engraved, sanded or polished. Once worked, tagua is close to ivory in terms of hardness, softness, brilliance, color and durability.
Of course, tagua beads are unique: nature doesn't make two identical seeds!
What can I do with my tagua seed?
Make earrings in the blink of an eye. Simply connect the Tagua seed pendant to an ear stud and you're ready to go!
Add your natural bead to a simple chain to make an original necklace. Adapt the length of your chain to make a choker, sautoir or matinee necklace.
Why choose between earrings and a necklace when you can make both? Make a colorful adornment with this natural seed by following our easy tutorial.
