This polishing wheel features a semi-hard point made of soft, absorbent felt. It offers gentle polishing and a smooth finish without damaging the surface of your metal parts. It will enable you toapply polishing paste without risk of scratching, remove imperfections, restore metal shine and obtain a high-quality finish.
How to polish jewelry
1. The surface to be polished must first be prepared: deburr and emery your jewelry with abrasive brushes or emery paper.
2. Then show this polishing brush on the Dremel®. To do this, use the universal chuck, which enables you to change accessories quickly and easily on your multi-purpose tool.
3. Apply the polishing paste gradually, so as not to saturate the bristles for metal creations.
4. Use a rigid support for polishing chains (piece of wood, thin board...).
To prolong the life of your brushes, remember to clean them regularly to remove polishing paste residues, and keep them in a clean, dry place.
Always wear a mask and protective goggles before using the polishing attachment.
Also use protective leather finger cots to protect against dirt and overheating. When you polish, the parts heat up.
