Natural Huaeruro (or Huayruro) seeds are native to Peru.
These seeds come from a tree in the fabaceae legume family, and are picked up by hand as they fall to the ground.
Their red color is totally natural (the male seeds are red and black, while the females are entirely red).
Reputed to bring good luck, they are often mounted in jewelry as gifts.
