Bonjour, Je cherche un fil qui permet de rigidifier une création en brickstitch faite avec des rocailles 11, lequel me conseillez-vous ? J'ai cru comprendre que les fireline etaient très bien mais il y a des ruptures. Celui-ci peut il faire l'affaire ? Quel mm favoriser ? merci bcp !

Bonjour, le FC-14373 est un peu plus souple que le Fireline mais plus rigide que le Miyuki beading thread donc c'est une bonne alternative acceptable. En serrant bien le tissage, cela va rigidifier la création également.

Bonjour Denise, je vous ai répondu sur un autre produit mais je vous recopie ma réponse ici car elle est également valable : Bonjour Denise, il vaut mieux faire 2 noeuds et repassez le fil dans les perles pour le cacher puis le couper. Vous pouvez également rajouter une pointe de colle. Certaines personnes brûlent les bouts de fil près du nœud pour les faire fondre et les coller au noeud mais c'est une opération très délicate qui risque de vous faire recommencer votre bijou si cela échoue. Au moins en repassant dans les perles sur plusieurs centimètres de chaque côté le bijou aura moins e chance de se défaire. Si cela est possible dans votre création vous pouvez aussi utiliser une perle à écraser à la place du noeud.

I have used Wildfire for many years, though primarily the 0.15 thickness. This is the first time time I purchased 0.20 and I am very disappointed. It doesn’t have the same feel as all other Wildfire threads I have used. Wildfire is normally stiff & has an almost waxed feel, but this thread feels rough, and it shreds easily. I worry about making things with it because I fear my finished pieces will break. I definitely won’t buy this product again. The only reason I bought it is because Fireline 0.20 was out of stock.
