My tip for ensuring that rhinestones adhere as well as possible to the alligator clip: lightly sand the surface of the clip where you want to attach a rhinestone or adhesive element. Sanding will roughen the surface, increasing the glue's adhesion. Use fine emery paper to avoid damaging the pliers, and dust carefully before applying glue and rhinestones. Your rhinestones will stay firmly in place.
Once your creation is complete, handle the half-moon hair clip with care, as the rhinestones may come loose.
Rhinestone glue is a strong glue that requires a drying time of 24 to 48 hours. To help the rhinestones hold better, you can lightly sand the area before gluing.
1. The 3-sun hair clip
Glue the first ACX-477 sun in the center of the clip using Strass 244 glue, then glue the other 2 suns on either side, staggering them slightly downwards.
Leave to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
2. The golden shell hair clip
Select gold elements from the ATT-107 assortment.
Position the gold elements on the clip to choose the composition that suits you best.
Then glue the elements one by one using Strass 244 glue. Repeat on the other side of the clamp.
Leave to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
3. Cherry alligator clip
Position the rhinestones on the pliers to choose the composition that suits you best.
Each cherry is made up of 2 STR-613 rhinestones and a shuttle
Glue 2 PureCrystal Light Siam STR-613 rhinestones side by side, then a green shuttle just above to symbolize the leaves of the cherries, using Strass 244 glue
To make positioning the rhinestones easier, you can use the rhinestone positioning pen.
Repeat the operation on the other side of the pliers.
Leave to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
4. Lemon clip
Position the PureCrystal Soft Yellow Ignite STR-630 rhinestones on the pliers to choose the composition that suits you best.
Then glue the PureCrystal Soft Yellow Ignite STR-630 rhinestones one by one to form a lemon, then the 2 shuttles above to form the 2 leaves, using Strass 244 glue.
To help you position the rhinestones, you can use the rhinestone positioning pen.
Repeat the operation on the other side of the pliers.
Leave to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
5. Flower clip
Position the PureCrystal rhinestones on the clip to choose the composition and distribution of flowers that suit you best. You can alternate rhinestone colors, for example, placing a crystal rhinestone in the center and Crystal Soft Rose Ignite rhinestones all around, or vice versa.
Glue the first rhinestone in the center of the flower, then glue 5 rhinestones around it to form a flower using Strass 244 glue
To make rhinestone positioning easier, you can use the rhinestone positioning pen.
Repeat the operation on the other side of the pliers.
Leave to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
