The tree
Take a large loaf of white Fimo paste of 454 g, cut with your blade 5 thick slices. Pass over a roll to have a fairly flat surface.

It's time to start preparing Christmas decorations, you can take out your white and red Fimo breads, take out your fine gold glitter and glue associated, we suggest you make 3 different projects from the same base supplies. These tutorials can be made by children.
The first idea is to build a small decorative table tree by making white Fimo clay boards of various sizes and stack them on a toothpick to give a more modern tree stucture. The edges of all the rectangles will be covered with glitter.
The second idea is to create a pretty Santa Claus in the form of a cone with his whiskers and beard and his red hat. This figurine will be hung in your tree next to the candy canes that we will make last. We will use Fimo paste translucent red twisted around white for a more gourmet effect reminiscent of the coulis topping but iol is quite possible to use a beautiful red Christmas from Fimo.

The tree
Take a large loaf of white Fimo paste of 454 g, cut with your blade 5 thick slices. Pass over a roll to have a fairly flat surface.

Detail with a blade rectangles of dough, in all there will be 10 Fimo bricks, the first is 3cm wide by 6 cm, the second and third are 6 by 2.5 wide, fourth and fifth 5.5 long by 2.5 wide. Form a ball with the remaining dough and then pass the roller to continue to make rectangles.

Take off a bit of length and width each time. The last one is 3.5 by 1 cm wide.

Form a large white ball, crush it slightly so that it is stable it will be the base of the tree, pierce it without crossing it with a toothpick. Form a second ball much smaller it will be at the top of the tree as the first do not pierce it entirely.

Bake your rectangles and balls in a traditional oven at 120 degrees for 30 minutes. If you don't have a piercing tool you can pierce before baking with a toothpick or after baking but with a drill bit the same size as the toothpick like the tool in the picture.

Put a few drops of glue on the edges of the boards, spread with a fine brush and then sprinkle with glitter so that they adhere to the glue. Remember to put a sheet underneath to collect the glitter. It takes 10 minutes to dry.

Assemble your tree by putting in the ball base a toothpick and threading all the rectangles and finally the last ball, if you lack a little length of toothpick you can break the tip of another and add it in the previous hole next to the tip of the other.

Santa Claus

Knead your red pasta and roll two balls between your hands. Detail the white bar as shown in the photo.

Take the smallest red ball and under one hand against a smooth surface roll your ball by pressing more on one side to get a cone, you can also pinch the end to accentuate the shape. Place the cap on the large ball and so that it is slightly offset towards the back.

The smallest amount of white will make the ball of the nose, also roll in ball the part a little larger then pass the roller to flatten it finely and obtain a round which will be the face. The biggest piece of white must be rolled into a cylinder, the remaining one must be well flattened as the head, cut it with a cutter or a blade to give it a beard shape.

Cut the cylinder lengthwise and place it on the bottom of the hat to make a white border. Cut the round in half and place it on the top of the ball to make the face, place the nose.

Scrape a little dry pastel powder with your blade and then with a brush color the face of Santa Claus. Roll under your index finger a very thin filament with a piece of black paste, cut two small squares, make balls. Before placing the eyes, to ensure that they will remain in place, push the end of a toothpick to create two small those in which you place the black balls.

Now place the beard, adding lots of white filaments to give it relief.
Bake your Santa at 120 degrees for 30 minutes. You can if you wish varnish it with the same varnish as the candy canes but only the red parts.

Barley sugar lollipop
Take 2 bars of polymer clay from each loaf. Form under your hand 2 cylinders of the same diameter by rolling the dough on a support. Cut three different lengths in each color: large, medium and small. Place your 2 identical lengths side by side and roll them together to glue them. Take one end between your fingers and twist the whole length.

Wrap one end of the twist around itself and then continue working flat on a support. Place your spike, pushing it in gently to distort your round as little as possible. Bake your lollipops with the wood in a traditional oven at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.
NB : You can also choose to give your creation the shape of a traditional candy cane

Once your lollipops have cooled, you can varnish them. Add a small bow of red satin ribbon to each lollipop
