In this video, we give you all the tips and tricks to turn a usually cute animal into a little terror: bones, gravestones, fake blood, ghosts! This is an original idea that will not fail to catch the attention of your neighbors.
In addition, you have all the holidays to decline to infinity this tutorial and create your little army of turtles! Of course, you can use other colors of polymer clay to make your little turtles even more original.
Let's go, we tell you everything! Do not hesitate to refer to the video for more details. Appointment at the bottom of the page for the complete basket!
The steps :
Step 1 : Take a piece of green dough and form a ball. Apply there to form a thick pellet and cut into 4 pieces (see video) to form the legs of the turtle with your fingers. Also form a cone a little flattened for the head.
Step 2 : Take some light orange paste and form a cone. Apply with your fingers to form the underside of the shell. The roller is not necessary.
Step 3 : Take brown paste to form the top of the shell. Form a large cone and flatten it slightly, so that it keeps its curved effect. Using the flat-faced scalpel, draw hexagons on top. Also form a thin and long strip of width and regular thickness to go around. Strike it with the scalpel. Be careful not to really cut the dough but only make traces.
Step 4 : Assemble all the pieces to be made. Insert the round head nail if you wish to hang your turtle. Using the ball tip tool form the eye notches and insert small balls of black paste.
Step 5 : Decorate your turtle with macabre elements: bone, tombstone, pumpkins, blood, ghosts. Watch the video for more information on achieving these elements. Plant flat-headed nails in different places on your turtle.
Step 6 : Place your creation in the oven at 110 ° for 30 minutes. With the help of black felt you can add elements (crosses, writing on tombstones, face ghosts etc). You can now varnish your turtle.
And now, your little Hallowen turtle is now over! So ? Satisfied with the result?
