Customize your cutlery for the holidays with black and gold polymer clay.
Step 1
Take a loaf of black clay, knead it and then roll it into a plate. Cut 3 strips approximately 4 cm wide by 10 cm long. Take a small quantity of golden clay and roll it out as thinly as possible. Using the blade, cut out small, thin pieces to spread over the black plates.
Step 2
Place a piece of baking paper on the baking sheets, then roll to smooth the surfaces.
Step 3
Place your cutlery on the clay sheets, folding over the first side, taking care not to trap any air. Trim the excess clay before folding over the second side to avoid overlapping. Bring the 2 edges together with your fingers, then smooth the seam. Bake your cutlery at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Varnish the cutlery to revive the colors and protect your creations.
