Elastic bracelet with fresh water pearls tutorial

How to make an elastic bracelet with beads?

Freshwater pearls are back in fashion. Inspired by Lady Di, this jewelry trend will be omnipresent this year: pearl earrings, multi-strand bracelets, or even choker necklace.
Timeless and elegant, freshwater pearl jewelry is THE basic to have in your jewelry box. What if you made them yourself? That's what we're going to teach you in this DIY tutorial.
Making elastic bracelets is simple but it requires patience and precision.

Affordable and natural, soft water pearls are ideal for creating DIY jewelry. Their irregular shape brings a warm and authentic feel to the jewelry.
The central pearl with Preciosa crystals will brighten up your bracelet while the freshwater pearls will bring the vintage touch. We love the round spacers with two holes to easily make a multi-rank bracelet. We also have the version with 3 and 4 holes, if you want to make a cuff bracelet.

Making a pearl bracelet without a clasp is ultra easy when you're new to jewelry making, but it's also very convenient to slip on your wrist.
No more hassle in the morning to put on bracelets, the elastics slip on in no time.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Cut a 30 cm piece of elastic thread. Thread the tube bead, then 3 freshwater beads, 1 golden bead, 2 freshwater beads, 1 golden bead, 3 freshwater beads and so on.

To finish, tie a surgeon's knot, turning the right wire twice on the left wire to intertwine them. Then tighten and repeat the previous step to form a second loop over the first row. then tighten it all.
Cut the threads at 0.5 mm from the knot and hide them in the tube bead.
To solidify your knot, you can add a dot of jewelry glue.

We explain in detail in a video how to close an elastic bracelet.

2 gold interleaving beads, 3 beads, 2 gold interleaving beads, 4 beads, 2 gold interleaving beads, 4 beads, 2 gold interleaving beads, 3 beads, 2 gold interleaving beads, 19 beads.
Adjust the number of beads to fit your wrist.

Finish your elastic bracelet in the same way as the 1st bracelet with a surgeon's knot.

Nudo chirugiano es español sería "nudo quirúrgico"; podrían agregar el enlace que enseña a hacerlo? Es la clave para que la pulsera no se desarme. Gracias
