Are you a fan of Puca® glass beads? In this tutorial, created by our partner Puca®, learn how to make a brooch using Samos beads, a Puca® cabochon, and Miyuki seed beads. To make this brooch, you’ll need to use embroidery fabric to attach the cabochon to the Samos beads and seed beads. You can also add a small charm for an even more whimsical touch!
Available in several colors, Puca offers a second version featuring Pastel Olivine Samos beads and a Light Gold Matte cabochon. But you can choose any colors you like—we have a wide selection of Samos beads by Puca and glass cabochons.
In the materials list, we’ve suggested a charm, but you’re free to choose whichever one you like—color, shape, and more. Whether you’re making it for yourself or as a gift, this Cathy brooch will be perfect for accessorizing your winter cardigans! Alternatively, you can also mount your creation on a chain by replacing the brooch pin with a jump ring and wear it as a pendant or a long necklace, for example.
If you’d like to see more bead projects by Puca, we have plenty of Puca tutorials on our website!
