DIY: Use tin cans for decoration
In these times of confinement where everyone is at home, there is time to go around in circles and observe the smallest corner of his house. Tired of always seeing the same things? It's time to change! Here is a decorative idea to give a second life to your cans : transform your cans of sardines and corn into a garden decoration , bathroom storage , or even a simple empty pocket.
These are just ideas , you can obviously adapt the size of the can to be recycled according to the use you want to make of it. Today, we suggest that you make pretty little pots with a little salvage to put your cotton buds or your little plants according to your desires.
The goal is to make decoration by recycling, do not hesitate to dig into the bottom of your closets to find the remains of cotton thread which will be used to make the small pompoms. What could be better than doing with what you have on hand?
Let's go ! Find a small piece of cardboard and arm yourself with a pair of scissors
The stages :
Step 1 : Take glue (glue, muti support or hot glue) and apply thin lines of glue step by step by fixing your thread on it. Surround it around your canning, tightening each row tightly one above the other. Repeat the step all along the can until you have completely covered it.

Step 2 : Using a piece of cardboard, make two squares of approximately 5cm x 5cm. Wrap your cotton thread several times around the two overlapping cartons to obtain a good thickness. Cut a small length of cotton thread and slide it between the two boxes. Make a double knot at one end to hold the threads together. Cut the wires from the other end between the two boxes. Cut a small length of yarn again and wrap it around the bundle of yarn a little below the first knot. Using a needle, lock the thread inside.

Step 3 : Now that your tin can is dry, tie the pompom (s) made of cotton thread by wrapping the thread around it. Secure them with double knots on the back.

Your box is now finished, so there's more to it! What are you going to put in it?
