How to open a créole?
The creole opens on one side to allow you to thread your embellishments easily. Once you've finished adding your decorative elements, simply replace the stem in the tube below the clasp to close your earring securely.
To ensure that your creation remains intact, you can either bend the protruding end slightly with round-nose pliers to prevent it from opening, or flatten the tube with flat-nose pliers to lock the stem in place.
To protect your piece when flattening, don't forget to use a small piece of cloth between your pliers and the earring.
